Photography Exhibition in BGMG car showroom

New for 2019, we are inviting people of all ages to submit a photograph to go on display in the BGMG car showroom as part of a community photography exhibition.

The submitted photographs should represent/be inspired by one or both of the suggested themes:

                                        ' Community'

                                               and

                                        ' Adventure'

The photos will need to be submitted in A4 format with an accompanying entry form available to download here.

All entries need to be submitted between 11th to 16th February 2019 to either:

  • 133 Great Tattenhams (black box to the left of the front door) or

  • placed in the Photography Exhibit entry box in the BGMG car showroom.

The exhibits will then go on display from 23rd February through to May 2019.

Please note that this is not a competition, it is just a platform by which people within the local community can celebrate talent and artistic skills while sharing their creations.

This will play a part in the ongoing Community Links Partnership that we do with BGMG throughout the year and follows on from the previous art exhibits from  The Beacon and Shawley Community Primary School.

Rules:

  • Photos for exhibit must be appropriate for public display to people of all ages and within the car showroom

  • No offensive or obscene photos will be displayed

  • All photos should be submitted in A4 format and of good enough quality to be displayed

  • All photos must clearly state the name of the photographer on the back and be accompanied by an entry form

  • If taking a photograph containg people in portrait style (close ups of faces), you must ask the permission of

the person/people. Please note that general crowd scenes do not need permission of every person in it  -

only in cases where faces are clearly visible and photos focus on specific people

  • A person/organisation may enter more than 1 photograph if they so wish, but it is at the discretion of the organisers (TCC and BGMG) and space

available as to how many will be displayed at any one time.
